Genki Umbrella

Tuesday, May 20, 2008
I won a Genki umbrella! Courtesy of Anton Diaz of Our Awesome Planet. I met Anton last week at Kape Isla in Serendra to collect my prize. Yes, Anton THE blogger. I was "starstruck" hehe because I always follow his blog and meeting him (and the very gracious Rache and cute Aidan) is an experience in itself.

It was so very nice of him that he offered the Genki umbrellas to his OAP readers - for free. And like him, I realized how light and useful (as well as functional) these umbrellas are. They make the user stand out in the crowd because it is unique (being transparent) and colorful (i was made to choose among white, pink and violet).
Kids (and adults too) will surely love these umbrellas. They are light and handy. Taking pictures of these fidgety kids (like my niece Bea) won't be a problem because of the transparent material (something an ordinary umbrella with the opaque material cannot offer).

Very light and easy to open with just a little push of the lock thingie. Though be warned that it cannot provide protection from the sun due to it being transparent.

Genki umbrellas are now available at Market! Market!, Ministop and National Bookstore for only P99 each.
