I had the priviledge to serve in our community's Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) last weekend. Around 400+ people from all walks of life came to heed the CALL. It was a truly blessed experience, both to the participants and to us auxilliaries who served.
Speakers for the 2-day seminar were Bros. Obet Cabrillas and Alvin Barcelona (both Kerygma speakers), Bro. Michael Lobrin, Fatima Soriano and Bro. Vic PestaƱo. Fr. Dommie Guzman and Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite both delivered powerful homilies that surely touched the hearts of the participants.
I know it was not coincidence that the participants' baptism of the Holy Spirit fell on Pentecost Sunday. For sure God was very generous in giving them special blessings.
Even if i already know the talks of the speakers by heart, I always look forward to serving during the LSS firstly because I still love to hear their talks. It is as if reading my favorite book, The Little Prince, because everytime i hear them talk (or everytime i read the book), I am always presented with a new way of interpreting it. Sometimes if not always, the message is very apt for my current situation.
To the Class of St. Bartholomew, here's wishing you a fruitful new life and a grace-filled growth and transformation in the Spirit.
