I was introduced to the seminars of the Philippines’ number one motivational speaker, John Calub, by my sister. I know nothing about the guy so I was intrigued on what this business of Law of Attraction is all about. I attended his 2-hour free seminar and I got interested so I again joined his 2-day seminar.
John Calub is a typical yupie years ago, an entry-level employee who became the top salesman for six consecutive years in two corporations. He then decided to go into the restaurant business, succeeded to the max, but fell with a loud thud. In 2007, he found himself with only P34 after breaking his piggy bank. Good thing he was given an assignment (he was a broadsheet writer) to interview Jack Canfield (of the Chicken Soup for the Soul fame) who is visiting the Philippines to give a seminar on Law of Attraction.
He learned from Jack Canfield tips on how to get rich by doing 4 simple steps, and they are to:
- Decide – the first step where people usually get stuck
- Visualize – picture in your mind your goals and dreams
- Study how to get rich – read books, attend seminars, learn about cashflow, finances, etc.
- Spend time with the rich to think like them
He applied all the tips he learned from Jack Canfield and also immersed himself in reading the books and attending professional trainings of Tom Peters, Sam Reese, Marthar Rogers, Neil Rachman, Tony Parinelllo, Jack Daly, John Maxwell, Jay Conrad Levinson , Charles Haanel, Julia Anne Ford, Tony Buzan, Tolly Burkan, Warren Buffet and of course, his mentor Jack Canfield.
And the rest, they say, is history. Now he owns various successful businesses and is the CEO and President of his own training and coaching company, John Calub Training, Incorporated.
After I attended his seminar, I too became interested in developing my ability to attract wealth, success and financial freedom. One by one, I will discuss these learnings in the coming days.
I know the topic of money is a bit sensitive to some because of our orientation that money is the root of all evil. Actually, it is the love of money which is the root of all evil. Or to be more honest about it, the lack of money is the root of all evil.
Journey with me in my quest to learn more about Financial Freedom.
