I heard mass one day at the Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord in Megamall and the priest, Fr. Joel Jason, let us watch a video entitled "Ava says goodbye to her pacifier" . It was both a funny and tearful way of letting go. Funny because she is letting go of something trivial as a pacifier, and tearful too because when we ponder on the symbolism, the pacifier is just a representation of any attachments we have that we need to let go one day.
Dear child,
I know you don't like pain. I don't like it too. But for one to get well, one must endure the pain of surgery — to cut away that which is no longer helping but hindering you.
Doc,
God
P.S. Pain won't last, my dear child. So bite your lip and take a deep breath. Joy is coming, and that will last.

I agree but it doesn't make it easier :)
ReplyDeleteNothing is easy dear jellybelly that's why time is always there for us, Time can heal everything. And when that time comes we will realize that this is all happens for a reason and just think that if you let go something better thing might come. A very nice value. Thank for sharing.
