I have to renew my Philippine Drivers License and one of the requirements is a Drug Test. Good thing there is Safedrive Drug Test Center, Inc. at SM Megamall. I entered their small office with about 5 people already inside but the procedure all took 30 minutes. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have no lunch break so it is convenient for working people to drop by during their lunch breaks.They are right next to LTO Drivers License Renewal Center - Megamall branch so it will be like a one-stop shop for those renewing their license.

Procedure:

1. Go to Window 1 and they will request to see your old license. You will pay the processing fee of P400. Then they will give you several forms to fill-out.
2. You will be called to go to Window 2 so they can take your photo and get your fingerprint.
3. After several minutes, a medical technologist will call your name. He will give you a container to put the urine sample.
4. After urine collection, you will be called for the physical examination. The person in charge will get your height, weight, ask questions such as if you are using eyeglasses when driving. Then he will check your vision by making you read an eye chart.
5. In less than 10 minutes, the Medical Certificate will be issued together with the Drug Test Report.

By the way, the Drug Test report can also be used for:

a. city hall sanitary permit requirements
b. S2 license renewal
c. firearm's license acquisition

Safedrive Drug Test Center, Inc is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. They are located at the Ground Floor, Megamall Building A (their door is outside the mall). They are directly infront of St. Francis Square. For more details, call them at 636-1995/636-1997.
