Ton Ton Authentic Thai Massage

Some drink themselves silly, others shop till they drop, while a good number out there eat like there's tomorrow. My secret addiction is massage.

I can no longer remember my first massage but since then, I have been addicted. I was on continuous lookout for the best massage place and best masseur/masseuse. So allow me to share with you one of my favorite massage places: Ton Ton Traditional Thai Massage.

All branches of Tontons I have visited have this quiet and relaxing reception area.

Waiting time is 10 minutes max. Then they will make you wear slippers and they will lead you to a small area where they will wash your feet tenderly with warm water.

Then you will be led to one of the cubicles separated from one another with a thick curtain.

There you will be requested to change to loose clothings. Their massage is very relaxing. I was massaged, stretched, pushed and squeezed  at the right places with just the right pressure. It is true that Thai massage is a lazy man's yoga. Whenever I am there, I really want time to slow down. It is my heaven on earth.

I also like their foot massage. Instead of lying on a hard mattress, you will be made to sit on a lazy boy. They will put a hot compress on your nape and then they will methodically massage each foot with just the exact pressure. They will finish the massage by putting baby powder from the legs down to the feet. A 5-minute
back massage will cap the whole relaxing experience.

There are different branches in Metro Manila and interestingly, their prices differ. For the cheapest price, go to their Banawe branch where a one-hour massage is at P200 any time of the day. The rest of the branches have prices of 250 pesos during afternoons (12:00-6:00pm) and 300 pesos on all other times (6:00pm - 12:00mn).
